Grand Rapids rockers Deadwood Stone are excited to announce their upcoming show opening for Papa Roach at The Orbit Room. This will be Deadwood Stone’s second time opening for authors of ‘Last Resort’, ‘Scars’, and ‘Lifeline’. One of Deadwood Stone’s most memorable shows is when they opened up for Papa Roach in Muskegon, MI at Summer Celebration in 2010. The crowd was electric, and Papa Roach showed the masses why they are one of the top touring acts today.
Papa Roach is currently touring in support of their new album ‘The Connection’. Fred Droski, bass player of Deadwood Stone, has been a fan since their 2000 release ‘Infest’. Fred received the new album for Christmas this year and loves it. Deadwood Stone is supporting their first single ‘The Man’ from their upcoming full length album which they released a music video for this summer.
The tour cruises through Grand Rapids, Saturday January 26 at The Orbit Room. Deadwood Stone hasn’t played the Orbit Room since they opened for Queensryche in August of 2011. Dave Droski, Lead Guitar for Deadwood Stone said, “Looking forward to getting back on that big stage! It’s an awesome venue that has hosted so many of our favorite bands. To be able to perform along side Papa Roach again, and perform on the same stage that has hosted Motorhead, Megadeth, and Type O Negative is a blessing.”
Pre-sale tickets are $24.50 and are available from Deadwood Stone band members with no convenience fee, or The Orbit Room box office, Vertigo Records, or The Corner Record Shop.
